disabled people have no lives:
i guess i should take solace in the fact that my life doesn’t suck as much as some people’s and that i actually have real life things to do (go to class, study, save lives, hang out with my amazing boyfriend, etc) instead of sit on the computer and shit talk someone.
this is someone talking about how good it is to not be disabled. how she has “real life” things to do. *applause* this is who is saving lives in this country? god (or whatever force exists out there) help us all from this mentality, and these people. save us from the kind of thinking that breeds violence, eugenics, ignorance, and discrimination.
you know what i take solace in? that i am a human being who does not make herself feel better by looking at those less fortunate and saying ha! it’s not me! yay! we all have lives, you ignorant twat. most of us have more education, more experience, and more knowledge than you. we also know that respect is granted to those who deserve it. as for right now, you have surrendered all of your rights to respect as a human being.
People with disabilities are more than just inspiration porn, kthx. And btw, in some ways, my life is probably better than yours! I just live it differently because I’m disabled. Doesn’t make my life any less worth living.
